I have hit the age of 40 and there are some mornings that I think a part of my body is going to fall off.

The casino is the whole reason we are unsure about going on the NMC cruise. We are both very good at blackjack and tend to do pretty well, but feel we probably shouldn't frequent the casino with other church members, although we are not official members and have not taken an oath to avoid gambling. Some Christians completely freak out if they would see someone from their church in a casino, and I could see some people causing major stink about it. I guess we prefer to avoid the controversy. Anyway, we look at gambling as entertainment and would rather spend $50 at the blackjack tables then spend that same amount on some hokey souvenir or movie tickets and popcorn back home. BTW - we started with $50 and ended with $600. Our normal winnings on a cruise are about $100 a day. After we make our original bet back, we pocket our original $50 and play only on the winnings. It's fun! I really appreciate your comment and think it is hilarious that some people from the church played. I guess we shouldn't care what people think about us, but being a pastor's kid myself, I was always under the microscope. Thanks for your comment. I enjoy your blog!
Diver below: Do you realize that when God created the earth he coverd 71% of it with water and I have been able to see just a very small part of what lies under the surface of it and can't wait to see more. Why don't you join me?
